I was honored to be invited to give a keynote presentation at the CCBR 2025 Biometric Security and Privacy Protection Forum.
Talk Title: Key Technologies for Biometric Privacy Protection Abstract: This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the attacks faced by biometric recognition systems and their corresponding defense methods. It focuses on reconstruction attacks and template attacks targeting both the image and feature domains, and discusses various defense strategies, including cancelable biometric transformation, fuzzy commitment schemes, biometric cryptosystems, and template protection schemes driven by Physical Unclonable Functions (PUF).

Biography / 个人简介: Xingbo Dong (董兴波), Specially Appointed Associate Professor at Anhui University. His research focuses on biometric recognition security algorithms and image processing. He has presided over projects funded by NSFC and the Korean NRF Brain Pool Program. 安徽大学特聘副教授。研究聚焦生物特征识别安全保护算法、图像处理等。主持国家自然科学青年基金、韩国国家研究基金会Brain Pool Program等项目。
